Moms, Southbay ChapterMothers Helping Mothers
Our first chapter community service event will happen in two weeks and the
community service committee is in need of your assistance.
Our event is called Mothers helping Mothers. We as Moms will
reach out and help other moms who are in need or who could use a gesture of
love on Mother's Day.
For Mother's Day, we will be delivering "Baskets of Love" to the
Women's Shelter of Long Beach - Domestic Violence Resource Center and "Cards
of Love" to the House of Hope in San Pedro. The actual delivery will
take place the week before mother's day.
The "Basket of Love" will contain body essentials such as soaps,
lotions an/or body splashes. The "Cards of Love" will be home made
cards accompanied with home baked goods.
